How Much is TOO Much?

Isn't it ridiculous when people keep on buying pets non-stop without thinking? Or even breeding animals constantly without spaying or neutering them? I bet that the people never think of how they are going to take care of them(walking, playing, equal amount of attention, feeding, etc.) or even how they are going to get all of their pets out of the house when there is an emergency without anyone getting hurt. Some people will breed the animal to death literally just to earn extra cash. Causing more hopeless animals be put put into a shelter because their owner can't afford to take care of them. Some of the animals may be put to sleep because they need to make more room for other animals. Everyone need to learn that everything costs money.

You shouldn't adopt a pet if:

(1.) You don't have a job.

(2.) You don't have a home.
(3.) You are not home that often.
(4.) You can't afford they supplies they need for the pet.
(5.) You aren't responsible.
(6.) You have other pets in your home that don't get along with others.
(7.) You don't have the patience.

(10.)You are buying the pet to make money.

Nail Clipping

Why is it important to clip your pets nails?

If you wouldn't clip your pets nails, the nail could literally grow into the pet's paw causing infections, constant bleeding, irritation of the paw, and many serious health issues.

What do you use to clip your pets nails?

To clip a pets nails, you must use nail clippers that are specifically for pets. You CANNOT use human nail clippers. Make sure you don't clip where the vein is-otherwise, the pet will bleed. If the pet bleeds, immediately put some baking soda to stop the bleeding.

How often do you need to clip your pets nails?

You should trim your pets nails often. When you start see your pets nails are long immediately clip their nails.

When should I start clipping my pets nails?

You should start clipping your pets nails when they are under a year old. Doing this will allow the pet to get used to getting their pets nails trimmed and also make it easier in the future.

Tips: Trimming a pets nails in higher places will allow you to trim the nails without fighting with them. Most pets are are afraid of heights, so this will cause them not to want to fight because they don't want to fall. MAKE SURE YOU ARE CALM because they can pick up how you are feeling and they will automatically feel the same way you are feeling.

Ways to Prevent Knots

• Brush your pets everyday.
• Use conditioner to make knots easier to brush through.
• Brush your pet before you bathe them.
• Use cornstarch to get the knots out.

Tips of Cat and Dogs

• Corn Starch gets knots out of hair and fur.

• Chamomile Tea helps to get rid of skin irritation.

• Peanut butter get sticky stuff out of fur and hair.

• Pedi Paws help file the nails of cats and dogs instead of irritating the nail or cutting to much.

• Before any disasters happen, make sure you have several photos of your pets.

• If your pets had any fleas on them, you can sprinkle salt on your flooring to kill the fleas.

• Brush your pets daily to get rid of dead skin, dead hair molecules, have less shedding, and to get rid of dead fleas.

• Prevent giving your dogs table scraps because some foods are dangerous for them to eat.

• Wash their faces everyday to prevent eye infections.

• Rub Bengay or Biofreeze on pets who have hip dysplasia or pain to soothe the pain.

• Buying flea and heartworm medicine from your vet to prevent worms, fleas, ticks, biting flies, and mosquitoes.

• If your pet has problems chewing things, you can put pet treats in a wiffle ball, give rawhides, or put peanut butter in a special dog toy to get them interested in those items instead of chewing.

Egyptian Mau

Health Issues: Tips: Before you pet an Egyptian Mau, make sure you wear a panty hose on your hand because they shed a lot. It will keep the shedding down if you do this.

Extra Information: Egyptian Maus' are extremely fast cats. They can run at about 30 miles per hour. They have the letter "M" on their forehead-that is how you determine if a cat is a Egyptian Mau. They are rare cats.

Sphynx Cat

Sphynx Cats love attention. They may not have any fur other than some fuzz on their skin, but their body temperature is 4 degrees higher than other cats. Make sure you watch their weight because they have high metabolism.

Ragdoll Cat

Breed: Ragdolls are mixed between a white angora and another domestic shorthaired cat.

Grooming: Ragdoll's coats are easy to care for and they don't shed much. They need very little grooming. In winter, their fur might have static electricity and their coats aren't thick.

Possible Health Issues: Heart Disease is common with this breed of cat. Have your vet check them for heart Disease often.

Family: They make wonderful Family Cats

Ragdolls are the biggest cats known. They can weigh up to 35 pounds. They have very large bones and long legs.

Persian Cats

Grooming: Persian Cats need to be brushed everyday. Their hair can be shaved and made into yarn.

Possible Health Issues: Persian Cats need to be checked for Kidney Disease, asthma, and Respiratory Issues by their vets. Their eyes need to be cleaned daily as well because their eyes get gooey.

Family: Persian Cats are the perfect family cat.

Persian Cats are the most popular cat in the world. They are often called a "lounge lizard" because the lay around a lot. They must be kept as indoor cats.

American Short hair Cat

Grooming: American short hairs don't need to be groomed daily. They have short hair.

Heath: Very healthy but check every now and then at your vet to check for heart disease.

Family: American Short hair's are great with other pets and children. They are not needy.

Weight: fully grown at about three or four years old:
Females: 8 to 12 pounds
Males: 11 to 15 pounds

Life: American Short hair's can live for about 15 to 20 years old.

Americans short hairs are the Best mouse and rat hunters. They have short pointed ears. They are also known as the British Short hair.

Savannah Cats

Breed: Savannah Cats are bred between a Wild Cat in Africa and a domestic cat.

Weight: About 30 pounds

Family: Savannah Cats are similar to having a pet dog. They can jump as high as 7 feet high. Some states don't allow this cats to be a pet because of the wildness in them.

Possible Health Issues: Savannah Cats are very healthy and have very few health problems.

The black tear marks on the sides of their eyes reflect light . They have very odd noises such as the snake hiss. Unlike other cats, Savannah's like water.

Scottish Fold Cats

Family: Very Playful and attention seeking.

Health: Very healthy and they can live up to 18 years.

Grooming: They need a daily grooming.

Environment: They can be around loud and noisy pets or people.

Breeding: You have to be very careful breeding them.

Their ears are folded down because the ear cartilage is very weak and floppy.

Turkish Angora Cats

Grooming: Turkish Angora's have a long silky coat with large ears. They don't need to be groomed very often.

Family: Turkish Angoras' make a great family pet

Possible Health Issues: Very Healthy, but they can have lower urinary tract disease, upper respiratory infection, Feline calicivirus, Feline immunodeficiency virus, and Feline infectious peritonitis.

Himalayan Cat

Family: Himalayan Cats are very sweet tempered. They are really good companions with people. They really like to play.
